Networks
Wired and wireless networks that hold up — from a single office to a multi-site national footprint, built on UniFi and Cisco Meraki.
Most network problems aren't the network's fault — they're the result of a setup that was quick rather than correct. Wrong VLAN boundaries, consumer-grade kit in commercial spaces, wireless designed for coverage rather than capacity. We design networks properly first, then build them, then monitor them.
We work on Ubiquiti UniFi and Cisco Meraki. We were among the first to deploy Cisco Meraki VPN in New Zealand — trained directly out of Australia when it was still uncommon here. We've built networks at national scale with uptime we're prepared to stand behind. An office fit-out and a multi-site WAN get the same rigour.
- Site survey and network design before anything is purchased or installed
- Wired switching and wireless access points sized for capacity, not just coverage
- VLAN segmentation — guest, staff and IoT traffic kept appropriately separated
- Remote monitoring and management so problems surface before users notice them
- Multi-site WAN design and management, including SD-WAN where it earns its place
- Hardware procurement, staging and on-site installation
Quick questions
Our wireless is patchy and we've already replaced the router. What now?
Consumer and ISP-supplied equipment almost never solves a real wireless problem. We survey the space properly and design coverage around how people actually move and work in it — not just where it's convenient to hang an access point.
Do you manage the network after it's built, or just install it?
Both. We monitor managed networks remotely and catch most issues before anyone in the office notices. If something needs a site visit, we'll arrange it.
Which is better — UniFi or Meraki?
Different tools for different situations. Meraki has stronger cloud management and suits businesses where central control matters at scale. UniFi is excellent value for single-site or smaller multi-site setups. We'll recommend what fits your environment, not what fills a margin.
The unglamorous stuff, done properly.
Managed IT, Microsoft 365, cloud and networks — the daily work that keeps a business moving. We monitor, maintain and respond so your team spends zero time on infrastructure problems they didn't sign up to solve. All of Run →
