At breeding-program scale — thousands of samples spread across liquid-nitrogen storage — a spreadsheet stops being good enough quickly, and the cost of getting it wrong is measured in irreplaceable bloodlines.
We built a web platform that treats the store like the high-value asset register it is. Every sample is tracked to its tank, canister and position, tied to its owner and its records, with each deposit, move and withdrawal logged. Staff can locate anything in seconds and answer the ownership question without digging through folders.
It runs in production today, relied on by some of the highest-end horse and dog breeding programs in New Zealand and Australia — operations where the provenance of an animal, and the genetics behind it, carry serious value. Built quietly, for reliability, by the same team behind the rest of our production software.
